Program Resource

You require three software programs, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Flash Player and Quicktime to get full access to the online handbook and its video resources. See the Help section for installation instructions.

Through out the handbook, parents and educators provide their personal perspective and advice on increasing parent involvement. We recommend that you download the HANDBOOK and save the PDF to your computer. This will eliminate a complete download of the handbook each time you view a handbook video.

The Student Learning a Parent Focus Program encouages schools to examine how they currently interact as supporters of each other and their students.

The hand book provides suggestion on how to meet the challenges to increasing parent involvement as well as suggestions on how to get parents involved and keep them involved.

Each video clip offers a wonderful introduction for a discussion with your school council or parent involvement committee meeting.
